- Industry gatherings create connections beyond Argo. Argo participates in events organized by industry partners to develop relationships and exchange ideas beyond everyday business interactions. At CRC’s Tinis + Talk series, employees engage with brokers and industry leaders in a relaxed setting designed to encourage conversation, not close transactions. At RT Specialty’s RT University program, underwriting and business leaders share perspectives on market trends while deepening broker partnerships.
- Employee-led volunteering strengthens community relationships. Across Argo, Community Relations Committees organize volunteer efforts that support the neighborhoods where employees, brokers, insureds and businesses live and work. “These experiences help us build relationships, better understand local community needs and make a tangible difference,” said Karen Boyd, Committee Chair for the Omaha Community Relations Committee. These efforts help Argo employees develop stronger ties to the communities that insurance professionals and their customers share.
- Employee programs foster collaboration across Argo. Through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), colleagues connect across shared interests and experiences. Coffee Chat, an ERG initiative, pairs employees from different departments and locations who might not otherwise meet. “I’ve met with folks in Illinois, Texas, Missouri and New York, and each new chat has introduced me, not just to a different person, but to a different team,” said Hali Groat, AVP Underwriting, Construction, Owners. These connections help employees understand other teams, share knowledge and collaborate more effectively across Argo.
